What is an Initial or Review Consultation?

Chronic Disease Management Plan Consultations
Initial 45 mins | Reviews 30 mins
$40 gap fee
For clients referred by their GP with a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP).

Medicare covers $58 of the $98 appointment fee.
Standard Consultations
Initial 60 mins

Private Health Insurers will cover a portion of your consult depending on your insurer and level of cover.

NDIS Consultations
Initial 60 mins | Reviews 60 mins
$193.99 per hour
For clients covered by the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

We provide dietetic services to self-managed or plan-managed NDIS participants.
​
Home visits are available for NDIS participants, please contact us to find out more.
DVA Consultations
Initial 30 mins | Reviews 30 mins
$0
For clients with a valid DVA Gold Card. Please speak with your GP to check your eligibility for this type of consultation, and bring a copy of your referral to your appointment.

This appointment is bulk billed.
Policies
Payment Policy
We require that all accounts be settled in full on the day of service. No refunds will be provided.
Failure To Attend Policy
If you are going to be late for an appointment, please let your dietitian know.
Failure to arrive at the appointment within 10 minutes of your appointment, will result in forfeit of session & incur a cancellation fee.
Rescheduling Policy
Any appointment that is rescheduled two or more times consecutively will be treated as a cancellation and charged a 50% cancellation fee.

A new appointment will not be rescheduled until the fee is paid.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee.
​
It is not our aim to make profits from cancellation fees, rather to make sure those appointment times are kept available for others who need them, and in order that you respect your dietitian’s time.

We do appreciate that, in some circumstances, short notice may occasionally be unavoidable, and discretion will be exercised in such cases.
